Thanks to the help of the support team at Annke, I managed to get this add on WiFi camera to work with my system. I have the DW81KD DVR that has eight coaxial hard wired connections but it can also take two IP cameras. I contacted Annke to get advice on which WiFi IP cameras would be compatible. They suggested the WS500. I communicated via email, which takes many hours to get a reply and the fact that I work from a Mac made things more difficult. No instructions for the camera l, so I was reliant on all advice from Annke. After a few days of to and fro emails, just like magic, the camera appeared on my system!! I have purchased another one to finish off my DVR, wish me luck 🍀

I orginally bought the system with 4 cameras and added two, recently adding two more to make the maximum of 8 supported. Despite being used in a small home environment, and the Cameras all showing fairly good signal strength, I can rarely get all 8 to connect at once, and when trying to use the "Repeater" function ( supposed to improve connections to cameras further away with poorer signal strength ) it seems to make matters worse ! I'm still experimenting with the numerous settings, and while Annke Support Team have been very helpful, it takes a few days before they answer by email. I have not been able to find a comprehensive set of instructions to explain all of the different settings in the various Menus, and what effect they have, which would be REALLY useful ! I'm hoping to eventually get all 8 cameras connected and recording together.

Resolution is great with only 4 cameras all works well.
When I add camera 5 and six the system becomes unstable and I get drop out. All cameras are within 5 meters of base station. I bought the two extra cameras and have now deleted one because it is better to have five working rather than six that keep dropping out. System states it will support 8 cameras. My experience is it works well with five but not more. Very pleased with 5 camera system but wish I had not bought the sixth camera because that is now a spare and not being used. Annke customer service department very helpful. overall pleased with my system and would recommend the product.

Easy to set up when you know how, its a pity they don't supply instruction with the camera.
