The system was really easy to install.
Unfortunately, there was no mention that the hard drive would not be delivered installed within the NVR box, and would require installation by the client.
Although the installation was easy, it should be obvious to a prospective purchasers that the hardware was not ready for use upon delivery.
I was extremely disappointed, that there was no mention of this during the purchase.
I do not expect to purchase an item and finish the build myself.
The product was excellent, very easy to install and the quality of the video was better than I expected.

Works ok. Repeater function useful but lower model W300 ? Works pretty well on distance and pictures still good

Happy with this product but instructions are poor. This is the second CCTV system the last one lasted four years. Give yourself about 3 hours to learn how it works. After a period of trial and many errors it works well. Better instructions could have reduced my learning time. Tried to add working cameras from last system but found that didn't work. overall rating after one month good.

All camera's (I have 4) are within 6 metres of the NVR, the Wi Fi signal is abysmal, thus the picture quality is constantly wavering like watching thru running water, done all the tinkering moving the aerials into different positions moving the NVR into other rooms, I have been up and down ladders so many times now that I've actually lost my fear of height. The setup manual "Well don't even get me started on that one, The Instructions should have said "Just feel your way around and learn by your mistakes" could have saved themselves a bath full of ink.
Motion sensor, "Tricky one this" lowest setting 20, will still pick up an Ant scratching it's armpits at the other end of the garden, reduced the number of blocks for motion detection, placing them where no leaves or natural movement would be detected, less then 8 blocks on either camera, over a thousand hits in one night, and if it rains or snows, your HDD will fill up in no time and the only way of knowing you've had intruders during the night would be the footprints in the snow [played back to see the odd moth in a couple of frames but others pick up up things that are not visible to the naked eye.
I wont use this on a network, I would be bombarded with alert emails throughout the day and night. Scrap the Motion Sensor you may as well just have it on constant record, because that is what its doing. Annke should ditch the motion sensor and opt for a PIR instead. Overall for me it's a poor system and needs overhauling right down to the manual, Am i the only person who has bought this as i cant find anything on the Internet to help set up. or any work arounds everything refers to other Annke systems.
