VC800 - 4K review
For the price point these are fantastic cameras. In darkness they use IR LEDs behind the dome to provide illumination, however I have had some of these cameras that performed very poorly at night, and fixed the issue by replacing the dome on one, and using an external IR supplement light on another (where I needed wider IR illumination than the inbuilt LEDs could provide) whilst also turning off that cameras IR LEDs. The poor night performance on some of these cameras is caused by the dome plastic degrading and reflecting the IR light back into the camera lens, but when working properly they provide some of the crispest night images of a camera in this class.

They are PoE (Power Over Ethernet), and when paired with a suitable PoE switch or NVR then cable runs are simplified to just a single CAT5 cable to each camera. If you are using a camera mount to allow the dome to hang vertically (rather than attached directly to a wall) then the bulky CAT5 weather tight plug is all contained in the mount on the outside of an external wall, and you can drill a small 6mm hole through the wall to feed the CAT5 cable, rather than a larger 20-25mm hole to accommodate the whole connector.

Inside the weather tight camera casing is a slot for a micro SD card to store local footage, and the Annke Vision phone app has a nice quick review area to play local camera footage if you're not able to access your NVR. Local video storage also acts as a backup if the NVR is damaged/stolen.

Configuration can be a bit finnicky to get right if you're integrating into an existing network/system, but out of the box these will work just fine for most people, and at the current price (£59.99 as of writing this review) they represent excellent value for money.

4 stars, as the firmware and web server side lets the overall product down a bit with a lack of modern browser support, but overall this is a solid product

Good quality cameras and NVR, the mobile app works well too.
It would have been five star if it was compatible with smart home such as google home or home kit but unfortunately it is not.

I can only give 3stars for my review for two reasons. 1. You keep asking/chasing for a review, any company which does this must be really worried or vain. In my view I’d you keep asking for a review there has to be something wrong.

2. Although I’m very pleased with the product, it is particularly complicated to setup the NVR software with very little guidance. Fortunately I have IP Ethernet experience and network knowledge, which you need to successfully setup.

Pretty easy and straightforward to setup. The lack of MacOS software is disappointing.
The small print of the NVR user manual makes for difficult reading so have to resort to online PDF.
There are a lot of settings with little explanation as to what they do or of you should change them.
